Each piece begins with a newborn’s name, thoughtfully transformed into a sequence of animals—one for every letter—creating a meaningful and personal connection between the child and the natural world. Papa During undergrad at UMass there was a series of oil paintings done - one that particularlly stood out was of my grandfather during his time in the service. The primary goal was to strengthen the association between the products and the company by using consistent color, clearly communicating each product’s purpose, and creating a visual identity that audiences can easily recognize. By disrupting certainty, the piece opens space for a story to emerge organically across the canvas. Rather than existing as separate timelines, these elements reflect the continuity of human struggle—reframed through evolving forms, from mythic to mechanical. Demonic figures and robotic entities coexist within the same environment, creating a dynamic interplay between the primal and the constructed. During my time at UMass Amherst, several courses on Medieval art sparked a deep interest in both its themes and imagery. The period’s depictions of demons and monsters reflect a world shaped by uncertainty, fear, and raw human emotion. This series revisits that forgotten iconography, exploring the human condition through both historical perspective and imaginative reinterpretation. It considers how people once turned to religion in times of crisis, channeling their anxieties into powerful, symbolic forms. At the same time, a subtle yet striking presence of futuristic figures—robots—emerges across the compositions in battle-like scenes. These characters, born from years of engaging with science fiction films and comic books, finally found a place to evolve beyond the sketchbook during the creation of this work. By merging medieval and futuristic imagery, the series creates a dialogue between past and future, faith and technology, fear and invention. &nbsp;&nbsp; Recent Works Poster Series <img width="7406" and coffee, reimagined through a graphic and artistic lens. What began as a passion project evolved into a series of explorations—some driven by experimentation and play, others shaped through freelance commissions. Each piece focuses on capturing the unique identity of a vehicle, using its design, color palette, and manufacturer heritage as guiding constraints. The challenge lies in amplifying these characteristics while remaining visually cohesive—pushing creative boundaries without losing the essence of the original form. The integration of coffee branding introduces an additional layer of concept, where simplicity meets reinterpretation. By maintaining minimal, recognizable elements while stretching the traditional definition of what “coffee” represents, the work blurs the line between product, culture, and visual storytelling. In October 2025, my best friend lost his grandfather, John, and I wanted to find a meaningful way to pay my respects to his family. After obtaining a photograph from his time in the service, I created a digital illustration in his honor. The piece was given to my best friend’s mother, John’s daughter, as a tribute to his memory. Beginning with pen and ink and oil painting, his process has expanded into the digital realm through tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Procreate on the iPad. His artistic voice was shaped during his time at UMass Amherst, where he developed a focus on abstract and surrealist imagery. His thesis explored the overlooked legacy of the Dark Ages; a period in which artists often remained anonymous and their contributions underrecognized. Through this body of work, he sought to revive this forgotten visual language, reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens that reflects modern technology and the emergence of artificial intelligence. Originally realized as a series of drawings and sketches, these ideas were later translated into oil paintings, giving them physical depth and presence. Since then, the series has continued to evolve beyond the canvas into digital formats, allowing the work to expand and exist in new light. Alongside his conceptual work, Bedrosian frequently explores his appreciation for dogs, portraying a wide range of breeds. These works serve as both personal expressions and enduring studies of form and character. Outside of his studio practice, he spends time with friends and family, writes original music with his band, and continues to explore new tools and techniques within the ever-changing design landscape.
